When you have a CPAP machine, you invariably have a stock of cpap supplies. At least once in a year you need to remove the old unused items and replenish the stocks. Therefore, it is a good idea to decide when to do so. The best time to do so is the end of summer vacation.

During summer vacation you will go places taking your CPAP machine. Therefore, it could get contaminated with pollen, dust and even bacteria that come along with dust. As such, it is a good time to make an overhaul to your machine.

What you could do is to give it a thorough cleaning. Your tubing could go in the dish washer if they are of the washable type. Filter could change and the mask could be cleaned or replaced. Once this is done, you need to look at your inventory of supplies. Discard the ones that could be thrown away and replenish the stocks. You will be ready for another year.
